PROOF THROUGH THE NIGHT

Happy 4th of July 2022. I hope everyone had a safe and joy-filled weekend. The 4th of July weekend holds a special place in my heart. It's our 16th anniversary since moving from East Oakland, California, to Colorado. One thing that hasn't changed is the slew of fireworks bursting in air. While it may be loud and annoying to many, it reminds me of how our flag was still there, proudly standing against all odds. Look up our National Anthem and its true meaning and origin: Star-Spangled Banner As You've Never Heard It on Youtube. Even though I've heard it many times before participating in and watching sporting events, I never fully understood what it stood for or its story. It will be well worth eleven minutes and thirty-eight seconds of your time.

That flag—our flag was still there. Many men gave their lives, ensuring our flag never hit the ground. They did not give up then, and we cannot give up now. The debt was demanded; the price was paid, much like Jesus paid the ransom for all our sins (1 Peter 1:18-20). It was paid for with the precious lifeblood of Jesus.

"O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave; O'er the land of the free; And the home of the brave?" That would also be one nation under God—that would be us. I really like Psalms 33:12. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. I was going to leave it at that, but I couldn't stop reading through the end of the chapter, so check out Psalms 33:12-22.

Well, July 4th is about to end in five minutes here, and I would like to share one last thing and ask a favor related to our mission.

OUR MISSION

We do this because we care and because our passion is to teach about faith and finance. We stress the significance of a balanced life portfolio where internal and external needs can be met. We focus on spiritual, physical, and financial health and prosperity. We focus on God, family, and career. We utilize the Bible and some other investment resources and share what we learn after we put in work to provide insight into our findings. Our financial portfolios are getting hammered, but at the same time, our spiritual portfolio continues to thrive. We aim to be good stewards and help whoever cares to come along for the ride. We love what we do here at RTGW. We have not made a penny or charged for a subscription as of this writing. We accept donations in the form of prayer, and maybe a monetary donation will occur someday. If it doesn't, then that will be just fine too. As it has been put on my heart, our focus for giving support goes to St Jude's Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital, Mercy Ship, and our business.
