Hello, RefindTheGood family. Once again, I am honored to share. It’s barely April, and I thank God for His solid foundation, as this has already been an incredibly challenging year for me and my family and, I’m sure, for many of you. But rest assured, God’s got us covered. Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday have come and gone, but this gift has us covered forever. Recently, my wife sent me a 30-second video of a little kid titled “Pray Before.” Hopefully, I can tie these two topics—“Gotcha Covered” and “Pray Before”—together to make sense and be of some value on your walk.

Pray before you, well… everything. Then, let God speak before you do, and let him direct your path. That’s right, pray before everything and never stop. 1 Thessalonians (5:16-17): “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Simply put, it is a biblically backed premise of a previous article, “Pause and Release.”

It all comes back to God as the foundation that has us all covered under the blood of Jesus. I began writing this on Good Friday. The day Jesus surrendered his life to cover our sins. But it is only by faith that we trade our sin and its accompanying death penalty for His righteousness and life. It is the greatest gift the world will ever receive. And while the death of Jesus was the necessary sacrifice for our sin, the resurrection was the victory. The resurrection is everything to our faith, and as we know from Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

I would like to invite you all to be courageous, keep the faith and really dive into Romans 10:9. On 9/19/18, my life was changed forever when I chose to do just that. Romans 10:9: “… that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

For those of us that are saved, please be bold and reach out to all with ears to hear and eyes to see and make a difference. Use your testimony and God’s will wherever you may be on the journey. It will not be easy, but it is simple. Put in work and train your eyes on Jesus. Want more in this life, want more Jesus. Your life will follow your eyes, and you can run this race wisely and patiently as you lay aside every weight and every sin. And while we will never be sinless, we can always sin less. So please, always remember and never forget to “Pray Before” and that he’s “Gotcha Covered.”

Until next time,

Much love and be blessable,

Larry
