ANOTHER YEAR OF GRACE

Welcome to, and thank you for joining me for the final post of 2023. It is a gift to be here and to be joined by whoever reads this finale to another year of grace.

This past Monday, my family and I finished up a weekly video bible study on the book of Revelation. My wife initiated the idea to study this final book of the Bible to comfort us during what some might consider some of the craziest times the world has ever experienced. We began this journey on January 16th of this year and finished on December 4th.

We never thought it would take an entire year, but life happens, obstacles arise, and time passes. But what an incredible journey we had together, pushing forward to the final verse of the entire Bible. What a profound and comforting verse it is. It is the gift of all gifts and, quite simply, is the only gift you will ever need. It is the ultimate gift we celebrate every Christmas when baby Jesus came into the world. It is a gift to all who choose to accept and receive it. The final verse is Revelation 22:21: “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, Amen.” Go ahead and let that sink in… I mean, really let it sink in.

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.” It is the free and unmerited favor packed with overflowing blessings that the King of Kings wants you to have and prosper from. He wants to give us this gift of grace even though we do not deserve it. And it clearly states that this gift of grace is to “be with you all.” All. Not some, but all. And he wants it to be with you all the time.

So, as we draw near to that miraculous day when we celebrate the birth of our savior, Baby Jesus, please take time to pray for, fellowship with, and comfort all those you encounter along your journey whenever the opportunity arises.

These are priceless moments that lie ahead for you to share and create life-changing moments in many people’s lives.
